How to send mail to inmate in Wayne County Jail?
Your mail must be sent through the U.S. Postal Service. Only letters or greeting cards are accepted through the mail.

How to visit an inmate in Wayne County Jail?
Visitations are on Sunday from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Make up visits are by request.
The inmate must put you on his/her visitation list. You must bring a picture I.D. with you to visitation. All visitors must be dressed appropriately – no revealing attire can be worn during inmate visitations.
Visitations are 30 minutes. Each inmate gets ONE 30 minute visit per week.
How to send money to an inmate?
Money for commissary is accepted by Wayne County Jail Tuesdays and Saturdays from 1:00 am to 7:00 am, 9:00 am to 11:00 am, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.
How to call an inmate in Wayne County Jail?
Incoming calls for the inmates are not allowed. However, an inmate can call you from Wayne County Jail. Inmates have access to a phone from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm each day. We have a special jail phone system and all calls are collect. They will be billed to the person receiving the call.
